This sounded interesting but isn't, especially since I couldn't see the actual graph(s). The only relevant thing that's true about the "birthday paradox" is that it isn't a paradox. There's nothing in the least bit illogical or unexpected about it. Oh, and by the way, n isn't a random variable. It's a dependent variable (it's the result of doing a simulation) so how can it also be a random variable?
