You're talking about bugs that arise from the interface between code and users. We used to have a tongue-in-cheek response for those bugs: if it hurts when you do that, don't do that.

But what about bugs that arise from code-code interfaces? These types of bug can give rise to errors or exceptions (or other sorts of crash). Such bugs certainly cannot be glossed over.
